Watching BIG on AMC right now. I haven’t seen this movie in over fifteen years, but this scene still brings tears to my eyes. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was watching this scene, wanting to go to FAO Schwartz to hop on that piano.
Can I also say how weird it is, watching this movie in 2008, to watch Elizabeth Perkins smoke all over the office, including meetings. Oh, how times have changed.

My boyfriend saw these cookies and shouted, “MINI MIDDLES!” I do not know what Mini Middles are. Apparently, they are a very popular cookie from our youth that was discontinued in the 90s.
If only it were that easy to fill those suckers with the chocolate.
This is what our childhood was all about.

Estelle Getty passed away today. In honor of her greatness, here is a quote that embodies the old Sicilian we know and love:
